Hi, I’m Jeremy.

It all began on the bedroom floor. Lego pieces as far as the eye could see – a post-apocalyptic landscape of plastic set against a soundtrack of Billy Joel, Elton John and The Beatles on cassette. Being an only child, I spent much of my childhood exploring the worlds I imagined. I discovered my knack for illustrating early on. I began sketching new characters to be introduced to the Star Wars universe and designed bio pages for each addition. I did the same for a basketball team of dinosaurs. In the fifth grade, I created a club for my friends and designed our logo, business cards, t-shirts and website. I was 10.

After six years of training in Chicago, I took a leap of faith and landed in Seattle. For four years, I had the pleasure of creating at a small agency, where I lead a team of designers to develop print and digital assets for professional services firms around the world. Together, we rose from an unknown boutique to one of Puget Sound Business Journal’s 25 Largest Design Firms. Then, after a year of freelancing for some incredible companies and organizations, I joined an exciting startup called Lively, who partnered with artists to record and deliver live shows to fans through a mobile app.

Having experienced just a taste of the exhilarating startup world, I joined the team over at Porch, supporting their mission of facilitating the relationship between homeowners and professionals in order to get projects done. Partnering with our Product and Engineering teams, I led the Design team as we defined our process and created a product that helps homeowners love their homes and professionals do their best work.

Now, in an effort to grow and tackle greater challenges I have joined Amazon, defining the user experience of Spark, a new way for customers to discover things from people who share their interests.

Success, your message has been sent.
